One of the things about being a writer that sucks is the waiting. For example, I have 25 submissions currently in the ether. Some of them have been out since 4/1/2006 and that is not uncommon by any means. Sometimes you have to forget about your old submissions and jump to the new one.

Date: 2006-09-15 02:43 pm (UTC)I have books that I'm waiting on to come out, that were written in 2003/2004 submitted same year....we are now nearing the end of 2006...
My advice, when asked [and you didn't ask, but here I am, so saying it to all the writers out there wondering lol :)]...is....the hardest lesson to learn as a writer is patience.
All we do is wait, wait, wait.
Hang in there! And, in the meantime, KEEP WRITING!! Remember, what you write TODAY, is your book/magazine/etc/ [translation $$] 3 years from now :) hee hee.
