Weekend Roundup
May. 17th, 2010 10:25 amI spent a lot of this weekend not doing much at all.
Friday I napped until way late and then I visited Mario. I regretted going as I spent as much time with Mario’s bathroom as I did with Mario.
I finished “Darkly Dreaming in Black Waters” on Saturday and emailed it into the ether.
I also started a new story currently titled “The Tears of the Sky God’s Daughter”. Well really I started it with a single line.
In the great shimmering spire of Atrahasis, the daughter of the sky god wept.
I’ll have to work on it later.
The rest of the weekend was spent being lazy and watching Roswell with
insatia.
I did not want to come into work this morning. Allergies are kicking my ass.

Darkly Dreaming in Black Waters
May. 12th, 2010 07:14 pmI finished my Cthulhu Mythos World War II U-Boat story titled "Darkly Dreaming in Black Waters" at 4,200 words.
I think I can cut down the word count to make it leaner. I think this story really works at a horror story.
The deadline is at the end of the month, but I don't want to wait until the last minute. I spent a lot of time on the style of this story.

Call of Cthulhu
Jun. 24th, 2008 10:36 amI watched the fan film Call of Cthulhu. You can read more about it here: http://www.cthulhulives.org/cocmovie/
The movie is one of the best adaptations of Lovecraft. I think the black and white really fit the feel of the store. The CGI Cthulu was nightmarish. I highly recommend it.
Note: This isn't the one with Tori Spelling.
