"Moonlight in Scarlet" has been properly edited and vetted by [livejournal.com profile] insatia. I have submitted said story to the intended anthology this afternoon.

I found a potental target for my story titled "The Fisherman's Wife" and I will have a bit of time to start editing it before the deadline. This is a strange and sad story. Funny that a writer born in the desert writes so often about the water.

I have an erotic story to write and editing for "Fear and Loathing in Bat Country."

There is an anthology that I am very excited about called "No More Heroes." The link is here:http://nomoreheroesanthology.blogspot.com/search/label/GUIDELINES

I have learned that if I want to write a truly interesting take on the theme of an anthology that I need to take a couple of days pondering the theme of said anthology.

I am at present considering the anthology Daylight Terrors from the Harrow Press. The Harrow Press is a very interesting small press.

How do you write a proper horror story in the daylight? How do you take the most familiar and comforting of settings and place it with dread and horror?

It will be a challenge to write.

I finished “Requiem” this weekend and then emailed it off to the editor for review.

I have also finished “Moonlight in Scarlet" but that deadline is not for another week. I don’t suppose anyone is interested in betaing a fantasy short story?

Today, I woke up a bit late.

I did get an offer for part-time work, but it would pay only a little more than what I make now on unemployment and it would screw me when the contract was up so I said no.

And then [livejournal.com profile] insatia forced me to nap. I watched the classic movie Cleopatra with Liz Taylor. She was mad sexy in the day.

Writing List:

Finished my Miscreant Monkey Crew essay and it is now in [livejournal.com profile] insatia's email box for editing.

Wrote a bit for “The Secret to Giving a Good Wedding Toast”

Started research for Recovery". I need to do a bit of research on modern army hospital procedures. I know several vets. I suspect that some of them have been wounded.

Editing for Dylan and the Dream Pirates. I am current working on Chapter Ten: Ouroboros.
