The Harry Potter car was very neat.

I had a very good weekend.

My lovely wife wanted to go to Oregon for her birthday. I took off Friday, which was difficult. I had to work extra all week to have the time.

We visited with friends, went to see Wolverine, and had a lot of fun.

There was a Camarilla game in Vancouver, but I really wasn't in the mood for a game. I sat in the corner and chatted with people

I'm sometimes a closed off person. I can feel comfortable discussing the Camarilla because I know it was a common interest and a safe topic. I was chatting with Sam and Sara when Lisa introduced the topic of writing. She is really my best marketing ever. They were both somehow surprised that I was a writer. We talked about writing, roman history, horror theory, game, theory, and all sorts of fun topics.

I think I am going to make more of an effort to be less shy. I thought about it, I think that it has held me back by not going to conventions and making connections.

This year, I made a lot of strides in my technical writing because I was able to sell the work. I think I need to learn to do that with my fiction.

I haven't done a life update in a while.

Last night, insatia and I went out to the SAM for the last day of the roman art exibit. http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/. It was creepy being in the SAM after midnight. Kind of like I imagine all of the Vampire: the Masquerade Elysium games are supposed to be. It was fun. Bumped into a couple old friends like sebbiem and it waa awesome.

insatia and I continue to build our relationship. I love her very much. Someone decided to share our private business a couple of weeks ago and it hit us very hard. It could have wiped away our progress, but it didn't. I made a mistake eight months ago, but it isn't something I want her to continue to pay for. It almost ruined her birthday party, but that went over like gangbusters. I'm hoping that the gossips listen to her words: http://insatia.livejournal.com/135823.html.

Writing is going very well. I'm racking up the word count. I expect to be finished in the next month with Dylan and the Dream Pirates.

I'm really starting to enjoy Dark Reign again. I think the bad feeling that was generated has mostly lifted and the STs have picked things up in a good way. Several old school Cammies have started playing. More are coming. I am excited.

There's a rumor that a bunch of people might try to reform the Everett domain. If that happens, insatia will be rejoining. I looked at the Requiem rules and they seem so strange to me now. And the idea of starting a character with 280 XP seems insane.

Clay and I are going to be trying Screenwriting together. Should be a blast. Or it will make us kill each other. As a practice, we're going to try http://fridaynightserials.wikidot.com/

I've found that I have a lot more time on my hands when I cut out television.
