Strange Influence

jasonandrewI added another 500 words to "Dreaming in Dark Waters".
And then I decided I needed some fun popcorn fun. I started watching Conan the Destroyer. It is a weaker sequel, but I haven't seen it in a while and decided it would be fun.
There was something familiar and comfortable about the main villain. She has the evil 80s sexy raven hair look that I've always adored.
And then it occurred to me as I watched her mannerisms that this woman imprinted in my brain as the sexy villain. It confused me since I couldn't remember her in any other movie.
As per the Conan wiki, her name is Sarah Douglas.
She played Queen Taramis in Conan, leather bound Ursa in Superman II, and Pamela on V.
It was a weird moment. I suspect that when I was eight, this woman was the bad guy in just about everything I watched and she became the sexy vixen in my mind.
I can already think of one character I wrote for a short story I likely imagined as her.
