I am alive

jasonandrewI took a two week vacation from writing, the world, and stress after my last technical writing contract ended. The plan was to start again this week.
I've been sick the last few days. It seems many of my friends from PAX also caught the flu.
I did manage to complete my first draft of "The Doom That Fell Upon the Villa Diodati" and I have been very happy about that. I am letting it lie a day or so and then I will revise.
I also started "Asenathâ and I am really enjoying it.
I've revisited the opening to the Mystical Rome novel and I finally think I have the first chapter right.
I am taking another vacation at the end of the month so I am hoping to get through as much work as I can before then.
