Two rejections greeted me this morning in my mail box. One of them really disappointed me. The more you love a story, the harder it is for it to be rejected. Still, it was a nice rejection.
Story submissions were sent off into the ether this morning. My new story "The Application of Discipline" was among them.
This weekend is NWRE, which stands for NorthWest Regional Event. It is a convention for the Camarilla. Yes, I am a fang dork. This will be an event from Thursday to Sunday and so your friendly neighborhood writer will be out of touch during that time.
However, I will be chronicling this adventure for the Miscreant Monkey Crew. After all, I am missing bacon wrestling to come to this event.
The only item on my checklist was the editing of the novella, and I expected to not finish that this week.
I feel like a little monkey and I deserve my playtime.
