I am looking for more suggestions for reading as I have completed by pile.

I am pretty open.

I recommend the Horatio Hornblower series by C.S. Forester, and any of the naval novels by Jay Worrall or Patrick O'Brian. I have a great Hornblower compilation of the first 4 books and some smattering of stuff by the other two authors you are welcome to borrow.

I think one of the weaknesses of Dream Pirates is your lack of knowledge about how to write about tall ships and some exposure to the masters would give it that extra bit of power that it needs to sell. They are also great adventures. :D
