Writing Metrics
Jun. 29th, 2010 09:44 amI woke up a bit early this morning and I was refreshed. I think since
insatia discussed and then adjusted our financial plans, I’ve felt a little better and less stress and thus finally got a full night’s worth of rest.
Summer is an odd time for writers. A large portion of anthologies and other markets close around June 30th /July 1st. You really have to control where you spend your time.
I prioritized markets by pay, prestige, and cool factor. Sadly, there were two at the end of the list that I missed, but you have to make choices.
It has been three months since I got back into the game and so it is time to examine metrics. Metrics are important for measuring the success of a process and I really do need to thank
insatia for helping me create my new system.
