Steve McQueen Kicks Ass

I just rewatched Bullitt staring Steve McQueen. I forgot how much I loved that movie.

Yesterday was a good day. I napped a bit and then walked along the beach at Carkeek Park. The air smelled wonderful. It helps unblock me when I am pondering how to complete a story. I had a hard time figuring out how to complete "The Sky God's Daughter" and so I wondered through the trails and let my name wander.

And then, insatia and I went Kathy, Stephan, Thomas, Todd, and Tony's house for a party. It was a pleasant evening.

This morning, I made my famous spiced potatoes. Tonight I am going to write a bit more.

I love three day weekends.

Wooden Swords Clashing Against Metal

I completed the first draft of "Wooden Swords Made From Busted Grape Crates" at 2,800 words. I like this story, but it digs deep for me. It is based on a true experience. I am going to let it sit a bit more and see what edits need to be done. Likely I will change the title to make it match the others in the series.

I also started the research for "The Horses'Thunder Down in the Valley Below" and I think I have a new twist on the old devil at the crossroads story.

I think I can actually take tomorrow off, if I don't feel like writing as I have written a lot.
