I checked their rules and I still count as a nonprofessional writer, because I haven't been paid a certain amount three times.
I'm going to have to think about this one.
I suspect the editors are going to get flooded with Wolf and Data stories. I need to find a character that didn't get as many good stories. Hmmm.....

Date: 2005-06-03 06:47 pm (UTC)When Spock is completing his Starfleet Entrance exams, he is given Ambassador T'Pol. Spock is uncertain about if he wants to live in closer quarters with humans and has a talk with T'Pol, who tells him some things about her time on the Enterprise. Later, when Spock graduates, he is trying to decide which assignment to choose and in the end choses the Enterprise as a tribute to her mentor that helped him decide.

Date: 2005-06-04 04:57 am (UTC)You might consider Tasha Yar for a character study of some sort. She wasn't in the show long and the character was never fleshed out. There is a point where an alternate universe version of her travels back in the actual past and helps the Enterprise C fight off Romulans in defense of a Klingon outpost. The ship is destroyed and she is taken to Romulus where she mates with a Romulan in order to have her crewmates spared execution. Almost nothing about that has been written. I would be interested in it myself.
