I am a lazy person by nature. It is no surprise that deadlines motivate me.
I think that is why I have an easier time working on short stories and media fiction than I do novels.
I completed the draft of my second sekret project. I'm going to wait until I hear from my ever beautiful first test reader before I edit further.
After this, I have two projects I want to tackle. One of them is a longshot, but it will a good portfolio builder.
I also have Dylan and the Dream Pirates to edit. The problem is that I've also discovered something else about my writing. I often don't get the complete idea until I've writing everything down. However, I also write much better if I go slower. So, I end up writing a vomit draft and then rewriting it. If I don't rewrite, it shows. I need to figure out a good balance between the two extremes.
