Gmail is so vastly superior it's not even funny. This coming from someone who used the same hotmail account for over 11 years. Hotmail and I finally broke up at the end of last year, too.

Gmail has g-chat so you can talk to all your friends! It sorts your messages so that everything from one thread is in one email (great for lists). I <3 Gmail.
