I actually liked the Ghost Rider movie, but it fell short of what it could be.


I think the fault was the director.

The script was good. The action decent. The idea and scenarios fun. The writer actually was a fan of the comics and used a lot of elements from the thirty year history of the character. I was very impressed with the little details.

However, I think that this movie was failed by the director. The directing just sucked. It was just plain. Boring. How do you make jumping over helicopters boring? How do you have Nick Cage as the Ghost Rider seem a bit dull or lost?

Not always. Look at how the producers changed Daredevil. Watch the difference between the theatrical release and the Director's Cut.

Totally different movies. One is good. One isn't watchable.
