I've recently seen Prince Caspin, The Last Mimzy, and Sky High.



Prince Caspin
This movie was far better than the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The characters had a lot more depth and the actions scenes were much better. Susan kicked a lot of ass. It makes me curious how the series is going to end. Susan kind of gets the short shift because she didn't get to go to Aslan's Heaven. Neil Gaiman wrote a short story about it called "The Problem with Susan" that I really loved.

Lucy was a little bad ass. I loved it when she stood on the bridge alone smiling with her little dagger against the invading army.

Edmond and Peter were also awesome. I think Lisa and Debbie were swooning over the actor that played Prince Caspin.

The Last Mimzy
I was extremely impressed with this movie. How did I not see it before? I really liked how they tied the movie into Alice in Wonderland.

Sky High
I love god Super Hero movies. This one is awesome. Super Heros in High School. I've really been wanting to write a series about a super hero/villian academy. In a lot of ways, this one covered all of it. I'm going to have to figure out if there is something new I can say about the subject.

Sky High was so much better than it would seem to be by just looking at it. It had just enough goofiness to make it really endearing with some really great action sequences. I love when the Commander punches the giant robot. :D

I watched Sky High again yesterday on The Disney Channel. I'm not sure what it is about the movie that makes me love it. It's just kind of light and cute and clever. I could do without the 80s cover music, though.
