I've been working on my story "Mathematics of the Chosen" all day. It's the most difficult thing I've ever written. Not the actual words but the subject. It covers poverity, race, and urban horror. I feel a little dirty writing it.

I must be doing something right or really, really wrong.

As long as it isn't used for the sake of using it (Eminem style) and it drives the emotion of the story, I say don't feel bad about it.
