Date: 2007-08-09 03:03 am (UTC)If you can find someone at the big local conventions that has a table maybe you can arrange for them to carry your stuff for a split of the profits. Or you could do it yourself. Story readings at local bookstores works too. It all just takes work.
Another option would be to hire a business consultant to analyze how you can get the most out of your business. He should be able to put together short and long term strategies for making Simian Publishing profitable. I have lots of ideas, but they are theoretical. A professional would be able to give you strategies that actually work. I think after the next book comes out would be a good time to do that. You will have 3 books (if you move G&M over) and that shows you are more than a flash in the pan company.
