Sales are continuing to be modest, but I am quite happy with modest. Please take a look if you haven't done so yet.

Glad to hear it is still selling. Is Gods and Monsters still for sale or doing anything?

It is still for sale, but with it being from lulu, sales are in the toliet. I'm letting it run out.

I'm considering if I should port it to the new printer. Not sure if it would be worth the cost.

I think that you should take it to the new printer. You need a catalog of books in order to be successful and G&M is really good. You should be able to sell all of your books for years. The trick is just to find new markets for them. This time around you would have good reviews to quote on the cover. You are keeping all the reviews, right?

If you can find someone at the big local conventions that has a table maybe you can arrange for them to carry your stuff for a split of the profits. Or you could do it yourself. Story readings at local bookstores works too. It all just takes work.

Another option would be to hire a business consultant to analyze how you can get the most out of your business. He should be able to put together short and long term strategies for making Simian Publishing profitable. I have lots of ideas, but they are theoretical. A professional would be able to give you strategies that actually work. I think after the next book comes out would be a good time to do that. You will have 3 books (if you move G&M over) and that shows you are more than a flash in the pan company.

I'll also have Gemini #1 coming out and the other books coming out.

Right now, I need to spend Simian money wisely. Eventually, I plan to port it over.
