jasonandrewAt the moment, I seem to be enjoying short stories and novella writing.
I think I after "Bat Country" that I am going to turn the first part of the story for "Abigail's Dragon" into a novella. A number of different writers have turned novellas into full fledged novels. I think it's a good way to get your name out there and it looks like a ton of small press publishers publish chapbooks.
I don't think I am ready for a novel, although Abigail's Dragon would certainly be it.
I also think I can go for a novella with the Highway West. [Both the last version and the Five version.]
I want to have a decent list of new publication credits before taking a novel.
I also have a novel I wrote in high school, with a fairly creative idea that I think I can reuse as a short story or two.
