Television Time
Jun. 11th, 2010 12:15 pmI recently watched the Doctor Who serial The Curse of Fenris. I very much enjoyed it. It was with the 7th Doctor and oddly it felt like a New Who serial. I like 7 and Ace quite a bit. And anytime the Doctor fights things that look like Lovecraft dreamed it up, I love it.
insatia and I finished off Roswell. It was an under-rated series. Better in Buffy for characterization, but worse when it came to actual fights.
Now, I am watching the ill-fated Kings series. I love this show. I love the storytelling, the mythos, the characters, and the actors. Although, it seems weird for Ian Shane to not say cocksucker. You'd have to watch Deadwood to understand why. I actually place this series above Firefly for crazy decisions the networks made. Firefly would have never been a rating hit like Heroes or Lost. It would have been awesome, but never mainsteam. This could have been a whole hit. This could have been a crossover hit.
And the show I really want to watch, but isn't out on DVD is Blake's 7. I've heard so much about this show that I want to give it a try.
