A Mad, Mad Weekend
Jul. 20th, 2009 07:36 pmThis weekend, I went to the Portland Campout with
insatia.
I was very much looking forward to it after the previous week. I needed a chance to recharge batteries.
We rented a yurt with Sara and Erica, but alas, the room was really small. Melissa, Josh, and Tony Columbo had room to spare so we bunked with them.
There was awesome food. Great games. Fun parties.
All in all a very fun time.
Today, I have been slacking as I feel like I have run a marathon.
I came back to several bits of good news. I am uncertain if I can mention some of them. However, I can say that I've had an essay accepted for the upcoming anthology Butcher Knives & Body Counts: Essays on the Formula, Frights, and Fun of the Slasher Film from Dark Scribe Press.
I'm working on a review for an LJ friend tonight and then returning back to the grindstone. Tomorrow will be another day.
