I think writers are also a lot like marathon runners.

Sometimes, they hit the wall.

They've gone as far as they can and then they need to take a break. Sometimes, this causes writers to drop the words entirely.

I think one way around this is to take scheduled breaks. Plan your time so that you can enjoy life and recharge your batteries.

The words will still be there.

Today is my break day.

I just watched the Neverwhere Miniseries. It was interesting. I'm still thinking about it.
