Working in the Word Mine
May. 29th, 2009 12:07 pmLife has been fairly busy for me as a freelancer.
Last night I completed the second critical essay I needed to write this month. I have a short story to finish this weekend. I have two more projects that need to be completed by the end of June.
It is sometimes hard to stay in the Word Mine and toiling never knowing if success will come. The little things keep you motivated.
I found out this morning that Catalyst Game Labs has accepted three of my stories for their Shadowrun Seattle 2072 sourcebook. I just finished reviewing the line edits for the first story. I am glad this one was accepted as it was my favorite story submitted based on a Shadowrun character played by
blackwings.
I'll be working on the other two as soon as I get them.
At this point I feel as though I should thank my lovely and talented wife/editor
insatia. She makes all of this possible.
