Once I started pretending that paying bills was playing a game called Paper and Paychecks, I started wanting to win this game. It made me enjoy payday and enjoy paying my bills.

And so for the record, I totally just mix-maxed my cable bill. There is a crazy package I wasn’t taking advantage of with Comcast because Lisa and I use cell phones instead of a home phone. For adding a service, aka home phone with free long distance, my entire bill drops by $45 a month. Crazy! If you live in Washington, call Comcast and see if you can get a better deal.

My next trick is going to be figuring out how to min-max my writing output without killing the quality.

In order news, I’m been outlining and drafting for my secret media work.

For Project A, I’ve completed by massive amount of research and started breaking down the various scenes. This project is somewhat complicated since some of the story is going to be separated in the book it appears. I want to be done with the drafts by this weekend.

For Project B, I have no need to do research. My entire geek life has been research for this project. I need to settle down on an aspect of the character and it is a bit intimidating.
