Editing and Writing
May. 7th, 2008 08:13 amThe last third of Twilight Temptations needs to be copyedited this weekend. I shall have to remind the lovely and talented
insatia that she will need to stop playing video games long enough to get that done.
I've started on Dragonclaw Apolocypse by
marlowe1. I'm not even sure how long it has been since I read the first draft. My memory is slipping. I've started my chapter by chapter review.
I am concerned about how Lightning Source and Amazon are going to do business in the future. Simian Publishing only has one book through LS, but it is now listed oddly. I haven't gotten a straight answer from them just yet. http://www.amazon.com/Into-Dreamlands-Caitlin-R-Kiernan/dp/0979422108.
Work is progressing on Dylan and the Dream Pirates. Writing a novel is like trying to get a boulder past a hill. The first half is hard work. You have to strain the boulder to get to the top of the hill. And then you spend the rest of the time trying to keep the boulder from rolling out of control. I'm almost to the top on this one.
And I am shamed to admit that I haven't seen Iron Man just yet. I am waiting until I get my paycheck and trying to be responsible. Since I'm a contractor, payment schedules aren't in stone.
