Dec. 17th, 2007 08:12 pmThis is likely going to be a long post since I haven’t updated in a while.
I've been very busy lately and had a lot of personal stuff going on. That's why I haven't posted much.
I apologize for being a hermit and not hanging around everyone, but it looks like it isn’t going to end until the new year.
I was sick as a dog for a while. I didn’t eat very much Thanksgiving even though it was very tasty. But I feel human again. And now I want to be adopted by Debbie’s family.
I've started seeing a therapist about some of my personal problems. It is very weird and uncomfortable, but after two sessions I'm starting to feel a little better. That’s not to say that I won’t have a long road, but it’s a start.
On to other less uncomfortable news. . .
My short story “Skin Dancing” appears in this month’s Hungur magazine.
I’m still going to be a hermit this week and through Christmas. I have two really awesome writing opportunities and my deadline for the proposals are very tight. I had to ask my ASTs to take over for me the last game of Dark Reign, but it sounds like they made it. I felt bad, but we're talking potential fulfillment of life dreams.
Jour de Cadeaux came early this year and Lisa and I exchanged presents this year. It was a joyful experience. And the penguins outdid themselves this year. Although, I must say the polar bears just didn’t have the same spunk this year. I blame global warming, but Lisa says it was just a case of lazy bears.
