I checked my mail this morning to recieve a rejection from Strange Horizons on my short story "What You Need." Once again several elements of the story was praised, but this time more constructive feedback was offered. I think this was a near miss. I think the ending might be a little too heavy handed, but I wrote the story for that ending. I shall have to consider the possibilities.
