So far “FEAR AND LOATHING IN BAT COUNTRY” is 3700 words. I suspect this will end up as a short novella more than a short story. While it serves the story better, it disappoints me just a little because less places seem want novellas.

I'm going to have to remember to forbid my friend Stephanie from ever reading this novella as it contains kitten abuse, even if it was kind of inspired a little by her.

I think I like the taking a day for Lisa and then taking a day for writing. I was able to actually write about 3000 words today, which I consider fairly impressive. I had to adjust my autosave because I lost about 800 words when I was deciding to take a break.

My story seed file grew by about a page this weekend. Traveling to various tourist places jogs my ideas.
