I wrote a scene today in the Highway West that I think might get me in trouble one day.
It involves the symbology of the Last Supper and the effect of the idea of transubstantiation during communion. A character that believes in hoodoo looks at this ritual in a slightly different, but respectful light.
It felt right for the characters and the universe.
