I have been feeling a bit down lately.

I think I've been making good steps in my writing. However, I keep getting impatient. I realized that I needed to prioritize more and go after the pro-markets first. I have a couple of good bites and leads, but I'm getting impatient. I know it is silly and I've only been writing seriously for a year.

I’m getting better and so I know I have to be patient.

My goal is to break into Science Fiction and Fantasy Magazine. I am going to send them my best story after story until I get into that magazine.

I think having bouts of frustration and doubt are part of the territory. It's the sticking with it parts (or excessive quantities of alcohol) that gets a writer through those days.

My plan is to keep putting stories out there - sheer numbers :grins:

I'm sure he does have a backlog to publish. I'm sure he ALWAYS has a backlog to publishing.
