Spirits Are Ruthless with the Paths They Choose

insatia woke me from a deep nap. She was sobbing and crying. She wouldn't answer me as to why she was crying for almost two whole minutes. I was very concerned one of our friends had just died. For some reason, I thought Clay Turner had been killed.

And then finally, she told me she had just finished "Spirits Are Ruthless with the Paths They Choose" and that it was so sad.

The sight of your wife crying triggers something primal in a man, but I did have a wrong moment of pleasure afterwards that she had had a emotional reaction to the story.

Note: The story is loosely based on something from childhood.

Bonus note: She still managed to complete the edits. That's hardcore.
