My legs hurt a bit. The kind of sore of you have starting working out again after being lazy for a while.

After two years of Camarilla road trips and lots of fast food, I gained a bit of extra unhealthy weight.

I decided this weekend to do something about it. I started walking and exercising again. [livejournal.com profile] insatia and I did a major walking tour of the EMP and Sci-Fi Museum on Saturday. The Sci-Fi Museum is always inspiring to me. Sure, there are bits of fluff like the uniform from the Lost in Space movie, but there are a number of excellent exhibits. If nothing else, it reminds me to ask What If…

I’ve been spending lunch walking around the track between the buildings at the Evil Empire.

Are there any good and yet beginning level trails around the Seattle area that my friends might recommend? I want to hit one this weekend.

I suggest getting pedometers for you and Lisa. We got simple ones for $15 each. They are fairly cheap. Then compete to see who can walk the most steps in a day. Plan a trip you both want to go on. When you have both walked enough steps for both of you to get there reward yourself with that trip. It is a great way to force yourself to walk more. I have been forcing myself to walk more since I've been wearing one.
