Mystical Rome

Are there any good D&D 4.0 books about ancient civilizations?

It would be keen to not have to make up everything. And to be able to plug in some random creative equipment that seems right for the era.

I've been expanding the Mystical Rome based on my notes and changes in the campaign. I really love the players involved. I think this group has the best mix of players I've had in a while.

The old Rune Quest from the 80s was set in a similiar world to what you're working with and had a goodly amount of flavor text and equipment. Just as a notion. I'm sure somewhere in existance is a D&D homebrew detailing the period, but finding it will be a bitch, and it's more likely to be for an earlier edition.

True enough.

I dont care about the numbers as much as the story.
