I sleep better when I've finished a project. If I post a deadline here, then I feel obligated to complete it.

Last night I completed "Children of Tomorrow Live in the Tears that Fall Today” and I slept very deeply. I even woke early and came to work. It is in the hands of my lovely and talented first reader insatia.

Can't stop here....

I learned today that I needed a better file system. I have seventy different stories at various stages (from Draft to Published) and I had been trying to manage them by genre and category.

That works if I am working as an archivist, but alas I am trying to run a submission system and the way that I had the files arranged was not working well.

insatia helped me create a new system based on her filing experiences at a construction company. It seems to work well enough.

Two stories were submitted tonight.

I think it will make things a lot easier for me.
