Can't Stop Here, This is Crazy Country

It is a cool summer day in Seattle. The kind of perfect weather day that is pleasant and not too hot or cold.

I'm writing on my laptop on the balcony, enjoying the breeze.

I made plans with Clay to go to the Seattle Camarilla game, but I might skip out if I can;'t contact him. I wish the laptop had a better battery. I'd be writing this from Karkeep Park on the beach.

I might out there tomorrow with pad and pencil if I meet my deadline. I plan to take a couple of hours to free write.

I have another sale it looks like, but we're working out the details.

To use the word swarthy or not.

I'm going for the Sinbad type of feel in this scene, but has the word passed on? Kind of like you wouldn't use the word negro expect in a historical context.

The passage is behind the cut.
