I'm writing a short story titled "Fading Light from a Dying Star."

I need to figure out the space drive systems. I want there to be two different ones.

The basic set would be for short distance. Thrusters, if you will.

I'm trying to figure out what the best long distance method would be. Wormholes is overdone. I'm thinking about hyperspace/fold system, but I'd rather do something more inventive. Any ideas?

During lunch, I sketched some more details for my novellette "Fading Light from a Dying Star." I'm very excited.

I also came up with a fun twist on the whole Darwinism versus Intelligent Design arguement.

I decided to have a bit more fun with Simian Publishing. Since Lisa and I are going to leave Seattle, and I have long had a love affair with Seattle, I decided to try to do a little literary Seattle anthology.
