Does this quote seem familar? I feel like I'm lifting it from somewhere.

In the movie "Silent Hill" there's a scene where something like that is said. I think it was more along the line of "to a child mother is god." or so. Not quite the same , but sorta. I'm sure that variations of that are around.

In "The Crow" there is a quote, "Mother is the name for God on the lips and hearts of all children. Do you understand? Morphine is bad for you. Your daughter is out there on the streets waiting for you."
