insatia has declared that today is my special day.

The last three weeks at my contract technical writing job has been hell. I worked a total of 150 hours in three weeks. I doubt that any young boy dreams of being a technical writer, but I've made my living for the last twelve years solely as a writer. How many people can claim that?

Freelance work has also been extremely crazy. I didn't realize it until this morning that I'm back in the game. Last year, I quit working on projects. Something about the idea of writing just depressed me. Writing became more about the ends than the journey. Somehow I turned that around in my head. Now I am having to schedule work in order to complete the projects and the new opportunities becoming available to me.

Saturday and Sunday I spent my timing working and spending time with

insatia.

insatia has been exceptionally wonderful this past month and tolerant of me ignoring her for large periods of time to work. Yesterday, I sun burned myself helping her sell her jewelry at the Freemont Fair.

And so she declared that this would be my day. I'm trying to decide what to do with it now.

To all of my friends that I have completely ignored, I will see you soon as I emerge from my work cocoon.
