Medical Issue

Since insatia outted me today on Facebook and I don't want to worry anyone, here is the story.

I had a weird medical thing last night. Basically, the flu I had put a stress on nerves in my ear canal and it put too much pressure on some nerve endings. It freaked us out because it makes me slur my words like a stroke

We took advantage of my insurance and went to the Ballard Swedish ER. We were in and out in 45 minutes. It is called Bell's Palsy.

I was just checked out by an awesome neurologist. Everything is ok. I'm on meds that will fix the problem and I should be completely healed in 2 to 3 weeks.

For the next couple of days, I'll have trouble blinking in one eye and I might talk a little funny. Nothing to worry about.

I'm glad everything is ok. My boss was up from Nashville a couple years ago, when Bell's Palsy struck him. He came in and half of his face didn't work. I took him straight to the emergency room. He made a full recovery.
