Camarilla

The new Camarilla reset happens on Monday.

My character is an unaligned gangrel named Ulric Ragnar. He was once part of the Crone, but stepped away in recent months. I like to create a goal when I have a character.

I’ve been Prince a couple of times. I’ve kicked ass as the social harpy. This time I want to be a legend.

I have a couple of ideas, but this one is going to be difficult as I don’t see this character using email a great deal. To gain regional and national status, you have to travel a lot and use email.

Or you have to be pure awesome.

I’m curious to see how this goes.

Soft Reset.

Which really isn't that awesome.

The Camarilla gets marginally better every year, but it drains your tolerance of the crap.

My three year break made it to where I could enjoy it again.

I can't stand nWoD, otherwise I might have almost been tempted to give it another try.

I hated NWoD until they produced enough of the books to make it interesting.

WoD had the epic story.

NWoD is a toolbox game. We have to create the epic story.

It feels like it's set up to stifle the kind of play that works in LARP and made the Cam a success. To make the LARPs a success you have to move away from the canonical setting, plus it's just not as interesting.

Mage, my favourite game before, is now just _awful_.
