Writing Day

Last week, I was recovering from Cat Scratch Fever and thus wanted to sleep most of the time.

Last night, I upgrade to Officer 2010. It works well so far.

This morning, I revised, based on feedback, my story "If Love is Not Madness..." for the Unspeakable anthology. I feel good about it.

Then, I started writing and the world felt right again. Two weeks is way too long.

On the hunt

I've updated my spreadsheet for the last two weeks. I have five stories that I need to send out into the ether.

"Moonlight in Scarlet" is such a difficult story to place. It is a historical fantasy story with an unusual antagonist in the form of a warrior woman suffering from the curse of lycanthropy in a alternate Ireland. I really love this story so I will keep at it.

Alas, the markets dry up in the summer. I expect more will be revealed in the coming weeks.

If anyone knows of anything interesting about, let me know. I have shall have a lot of time in the coming weeks and I should like to properly fill them.

In other news, I started polishing "The Fisherman's Wife" this afternoon. This is a fun story. It is strange the weird elements you get from your childhood at random times.
