The week of Hell is over.

And still, I had trouble sleeping last night. I had listless dreams of copyediting XML code and anxious developers. I imagine it is a bit like a dog twitching dreaming of chasing rabbits. Wait, reverse that. I think I’ve been worrying too much about the economy and keeping my contract job. It has made me edgy.

insatia was very patient this week. I wasn’t easy to live with, especially with her tooth killing her.

I did manage to complete one of the freelance essays I needed to write yesterday. I like it a lot.

I need to figure out what project would be the best to tackle next. The deadline for the anthology I was writing “Moonlight by Scarlet” for has past. I’m thinking of finishing this story about before jumping to my next story. It will be a decent reward.

Writing Week To Do List

This last week, I spent 68 hours working on technical writing. This did not leave me enough time to complete my freelance goals.

I am going to ramp up this week. My to-do list is:

* Three movies reviews/essays to write. One draft completed.

* One Arts/Entertainment article to write.

* "Moonlight in Scarlett"

Next week, I will start my hard edit on Dylan and the Dream Pirates. My goal is to complete one chapter a week. I think I can manage this.
