Life Update

I have a new job that starts tomorrow. It is downtown near the waterfront.

[livejournal.com profile] insatia came back on Sunday and we've basically been lazy bears since then. I missed her very much and our week apart only highlighted how lucky I am. Both of us have had a lot of support from our friends, which is sheer awesome.

Last week was crazy busy. I worked a lot of overtime for a company that is very slow to pay. It has been very frustrating. Thankfully, my friends have kept me company and cheered me up all week.

James is moving, which will make me sad as he's one of my closest friends in Seattle. I can't blame him for moving since he gets a house out of it.

I started some more copyediting this week. It is a slow process, but I think it will be worth it. I expect to catch up on Simian Publishing business next week now that my work situation is solid.

Dylan and the Dream Pirates is still progressing. I somehow lost about 2.5 thousand words. I thought I had been saving on a regular basis. Very frustrating. And I'm having a hard time recapturing the magic there.
