Hmmm....I need to go on another submission jag. I've gotten back a few stories that need homes. I've also had one anthology that looks like it is being canceled. I'm trying to get confirmation. I hate it when that happens. I might try to add a couple thousand words to this story and turn it into a proper novella anyway.

Thanks to some encouragement, I have finished Chapter One. Chapter One is always the most difficult. I think it ends on a good cliffhanger. Here's the last bit uneditied.
