I love this show.

It sounds like the most retarded thing ever. But alas, it is filled with awesome.

Each week, a group of doctors, historians, and martial art experts simulate a battle between two of history's famous warriors.

They use a computer program and modern forensics to run through the statistics of which fighter and runs them through a fight.

Viking Versus Samurai: Viking win due to superior technology in armor.

Knight Versus Pirate: Pirate wins due to the blunderbus. Firearms win in a fight versus swords and armor.

I thought the Samurai won. Not by much, but I'm pretty sure it was Samurai/Viking by 522/478.

And yes, this show seems dumb by concept, but it's really fun to watch them nerd out over it.

And I love the fact the Spartan beat the Ninja. But of course it should have been Pirate vs. Ninja.

We LOVE this show. It's great to see a variety of weapons being used. I've been making mental notes here and there of things to use in writing fight scenes. Just little things on how the men move, etc. The show is awesome!
