Air Conditioning

This has been a crazy hot week. I've had trouble thinking it was so hot.

This weekend I'm going to eastern washington to visit with insatia's best friend. Amanda is going through a real rough time or I'd pass on the whole thing. Thankfully, it isn't that big of a drive.

While there, I will be able to write. In fact, I may even get to finish Dylan and the Dream Pirates. Amanda's house has a lot of tiny rooms. I'm going to see if there is an empty room I can disappear into and come out with a finish novel.

And yes, I know eastern washington is hot this time of year. But Amanda has air conditioning!!!! To Quote Dogma, "No pleasure, no rapture, no exquisite sin so delightful as central air conditioning."

I don't recall ever being in a house in Eastern Washington (or Northern Idaho, for that matter) that didn't have AC. I don't know how the inhabitants of the area survived without it. I really don't.

Does Clarkston still have their 4th of July celebration on Adams Field? I was thinking of taking the family next year.
