Comic Love
Most of time when fans post, they complain about comics.
I wanted to post a bit of love for what I am reading.
I really like the Buffy series.
I really dig Dixon writing Robin. He brought back the Spoiler. The Spoiler was the girl Robin for three issues before they killed her off. I didn't mind them killing her off, but I thought it was lame. I did think it was way wrong to kill her off by having one of the oldest Batman family characters Leslie Thompson let her die to prove a point to Batman. Now, the story is that Thompson lied and hid the Spoiler to prove a point. It works.
I know that a lot of girls really liked Spoiler as Robin. Some of the comic books I sent my daughter was from that run and she was excited by that. I didn't have the heart to tell her that they killed her off. I am glad now that the character is back.
